Cherry Bomber and Hightide -Updated-

Ever since Lopoddity debuted her fankids for Rainbow Dash (They are all cute as fug), I felt the sudden urge to redraw mine.

So yeah. I'll draw Hightide later and update the image.

There are actually a few other people with DumbbellDash fan kids. They should all be featured together somehow.

Edit: Hightide added.  Also I revised their manes and tails in the tiniest of ways.

Quick Bread Bio: Cherry Bomber is a meathead jock just like her parents. But is much more intelligent than her outward appearance may show. She loves to write and learn new things, prompting her to start a diary (she reached a certain age and started calling it a journal). But she keeps it hidden. Until one day Rainbow finds it and encourages her to pursue her interests.  

One of her main interests is pyrotechnics to the point where it is basically her side hobby or second job. It comes from her grandfather, Spectral Rays who was an engineer in the Royal Guard. Spectral inherited  a fireworks factory from his dead brother and the crafts made there in accompany both Rainbow Dash's and Scootaloo's high octane flying and stunt shows. Cherry Bomber often helps make these family fireworks in an apprentice role,  and eventually makes her own special recipes. A flash and boom cook book for dummies. Cherry got her cutie mark after getting a backfired rocket to the face and immediately wanting to re create the effect. 

Cherry is very smart but is also very blunt, with a cocky yet easy-going attitude about most things, she can become deadly stubborn on matters she is emotionally invested in. So she doesn't like being challenged. She does a valiant job suppressing this stubbornness as a journalist, though she doesn't really bother about trying to be unbiased. Her articles are very biased but at the same time very informed.  

Other Interests:

Grappling and fighting- She lacks Rainbow's speed but got a strong dose of strength from Dumbbell, and both parent's award winning hardheadedness.  

Surfing- Not as good a swimmer as her brother, but this is still a wicked fun past time.  

Roller Derby- Do not get in her way. Just...don't. Just don't!

Quick Bread Bio:Hightide is Cherry Bomber's younger brother, a very mischievous and clever little colt who will usually use his brains to get himself into trouble, and have to use them again to get out.

'Tide was always more street-smart than book-smart; he can read people very well, and often will pour on the charm and innocence of which only a cute child can have in order to reach his goal. This is probably the result of being the only earth pony in a pegasus dominant family, he won't say it stems from an inferiority complex or anything...but that's just what he tells you. It's safe to say, without caring parents, he would grow into an artful dodger, instead he's just all kinds of sly.  He's smooth, laid back, and charming, and sometimes  a "soft bully," doing things like using a disarming and trusting nature to coerce his peers into having adventures they really weren't interested in having. Long story short, think Tom Sawyer.

Love of exploration is a running trend in the family. Hightide followed suit, and not being a pegasus did nothing to deter him.  When he reached adulthood, he signed up for the Equestrian Coast Guard, which has both a nautical and aeronautical division. Either branch was open to him, but he decided to sign on with the surface fleet after he caught wind of a curious new machine called the submarine.

Hobbies: Swimming in the coral reef and surfing long into the evening. Turning tomorrow into yesterday. He aspires to be a cartographer before the whole world is discovered.
